Avenue N in Rumford

Not my cup of tea, ordered take due to the pandemic and had a burger, it was okay, there are better burgers elsewhere

March 7, 2020We went to Avenue N on a Saturday night and had the most delicious meals we've had in a long time. Our table was ready and waiting for us and the service was excellent, warm and friendly. Everything we Ordered was wonderful, especially the roasted sweet corn soup, Korean BBQ eggrolls and brussel sprouts!! I could go on and on, but we will definitely be going back. We even ordered extra eggrolls to take home!

Gone to Avenue n so many times and I can honestly say I have not one complaint! Food is always great. Brought my cousin from New York while he was coming to visit and agreed that the food was phenomenal!

Brandy new Providence location is a 3 minute walk from my apartment so I ordered calamari to go. When I arrived I realized that I had called the Warren location instead, and they don't open until 4pm. I apologized for my error, but the woman who came to the door said that if I could wait they would make it for me anyway. 5 minutes later they sent me on my way and I'm enjoying my calamari very much! Love the space. Impeccable service. Stellar cocktails AND bartender. Wish they would use less fat, salt and sauces that hide the food. Prefer better quality ingredients with simpler preparations BUT best french fries in the universe. Of course, just my opinion. Pricing is extremely reasonable.

The food was great, prices reasonable, service was terrific (refilled water glasses, attentive, knew the menu well and even what wines went with meal- thank you Aimee!), and they read the reservation note about my husbands dairy allergy and took caution! Would absolutely come again!

Always good, never disappointed! Had the Sirloin steak with aged Gouda tater tots...yummy! The tater tots are not your usual tots. They were nice and crispy on the outside and full of creamy Gouda mashed potatoes goodness on the inside.

Food was ok but overpriced for what it was. Great cocktails I would go back just for them. The food I ordered was a bit bland for me, the buffalo wings I ordered were not at all spicy. I prefer food that is more seasoned. I will go back to try other things on the menu. The restaurant is beautiful, but it's small and gets very crowded at peak times.

Trendy but cozy space. Great food, love the egg rolls! Nick is always warm and welcoming.

This is my type of small neighborhood place. It has a cool vibe - industrial vintage. The food was creative and delicious. Started off with 2 specials : lamb sausage cassoulet and iceberg salad with apples and dried cranberries and goat cheese dsg. Both were sooo good. Entrees: salmon and pork chop. Salmon was cooked perfectly on a bed of gnocchi. I didn't care for the gnocchi, but full disclosure I'm not a big fan of gnocchi anyway. Only a couple of beers on tap, but good options. I'll be back for my warm choc. chip dessert!

The food is delicious!! The atmosphere is conducive to having conversations and the waitstaff are helpful and friendly. The menu has options for everyone and the chocolate chip cookies and ice cream dessert is sensational!

This is a gem of a bistro. Owner/chefs Tracy and Nick Rabar have a focused and well executed plan for Avenue N: deliver the highest quality food, uniquely conceived and prepared every time. We’ve probably eaten there >25 times and loved every meal. Service is excellent; menu changes seasonally. Do yourself a favor, GO!

We had a 5:00 reservation for 4 the restaurant was basically empty at that time. I told the waitress we were not in a hurry as we hadn’t seen our friends in a long while. After having drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert it was just about 6:00. The waitress presented the check and preceded to come back every few minutes to pickup a glass or spoon or just to be annoying. After spending $250.00 on a fine meal the experience was ruined. No management in sight so we left and vowed never to go back. Good food not cheap but not ran like a breakfast diner.

Fabulous appetizer, drinks, wine and impeccably dinner! We love to sit at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, fun and the best at there craft!! It's like coming home to the best chef, food, drink and company!

A small place, but very nice specials & main dishes. Requires reservations. Nice mix of meat & seafood dinners as well as a couple of delicious plant based options. Korean Pork Eggroles a real treat. The cider pork chop could not have been better. Nice selection of drinks & deserts. Not a place for kids. Pricey but a good value.

This restaurant is consistent with very good food, and polite service. It has a lively bar area, and dining in and out. The owner is attentive, and it's kind of a local, see and be seen place. Well worth a visit!

They have the best paninis. If you happen to need a quick bite or a quiet place to sit with a laptop/book this place can do both. There is also a large back patio in the back which is particularly beautiful in the summer.

Avenue N is a great brunch spot! Their eggs Benedict is great as well as their omelettes. I love the lemon ricotta donuts, but the last time we had them, they were very hard on the outside and super dense on the inside. Sometimes this place is a bit inconsistent. We’ve had eggs Benedict that weren’t so great before. It’s nice to sit outside on a warm day and the inside is really nice as well. The service is good. We’ve had some excellent servers in the past.

This place is SO GOOD! Everything I've had here has seriously impressed me. Definitely a contender for best restaurant in the state. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Pretty limited seating so call ahead for a reservation if you're planning to come at a busy time.

The first time I went there I was impressed with the food and service. My last two visits were very disappointing between the waitress and food, it has gone downhill. Also, they need to do something with there windows the sun is brutal and the air conditioner blows so cold you need to wear a winter coat to stay warm.
